Our Outpatient Clinics offer free basic and specialist medical services and socio-sanitary assistance to facilitate access to the healthcare system to those who need it.

Cultural mediators inform patients about their rights, help them access the public health service, accompany them in case they have to undergo visits or specialist examinations at public facilities, deal with the documents for issuing STP codes (Temporarily Present Foreigner) and ENI (non registered European citizens), guaranteeing access to the public health service for foreigners and EU citizens.

A nursing clinic for injections, check ups, therapy monitoring, medication, and a psychological support service for the most vulnerable, is also available at the outpatient clinic in Naples.

Between 2018 and 2019, a street unit for homeless people was active in Naples. Our staff distributed hot drinks and informed people about the services offered at the Ponticelli Clinic, including a free shuttle service to reach the facility.

The street unit covered different areas of the city populated by homeless people. Among the locations were the Central Station, the Archaelogical Museum, Gianturco, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Mergellina Station, the port, Galleria Umberto I and Piazza del Plebiscito.

The building housing EMERGENCY’s Outpatient Clinic has been provided by the City of Naples; we have renovated and equipped it also thanks to the contribution of the Tavola Valdese and the funds raised through the SMS solidarity campaign “Health is a right for everyone”.
